Inițiativa Pozitivă expresses its readiness to look for opportunities to provide prompt assistance to patients who migrate from Ukraine in accessing life-saving HIV prevention and treatment services in Moldova (including pharmacological opioid substitution therapy), as well as tuberculosis and viral hepatitis.

In connection with the situation in Ukraine and the potential flow of migrants to Moldova, taking into account the importance of continuous access to prevention, treatment, and care services in connection with HIV (including pharmacological opioid substitution therapy), tuberculosis and viral hepatitis, including in the context of COVID-19, the Positive Initiative expresses its willingness to address privately the access of patients to vital services that should be provided continuously.

At the same time, we are initiating a dialogue at the national level for a consolidated response and the creation of systematic measures to ensure uninterrupted access to treatment for all people in the territory of the Republic of Moldova, regardless of their status.
