Oskar (name changed) was born in Cherkasy, moved to Kyiv with his parents at the age of 10. The man dreamed of becoming a professional athlete: he played football from the age of 6, got into the youth team of Kyiv “Dynamo”, then into its senior group… He spent all his free time training. It seemed that the desired future was already so close, but everything changed in one moment. At the age of 18, Oscar received an injury incompatible with the continuation of his sports career. And then – coxarthrosis (deforming arthrosis of the hip joint), bone detachment… Hardened by constant training, Oscar did not give up – he studied programming in his native Cherkasy, writing in Java script and PHP. He became interested in jurisprudence and went to the Faculty of Law in Kyiv. And 8 years later, having received a master’s degree, Oscar did not stop and entered postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics.

And all this time pain lived with him constantly. After the injury, doctors prescribed painkillers, which became an integral part of his life. At some point, Oscar realized that he couldn’t do without them… In 2020, he told his doctor about his addiction, who advised him to turn to the OST site. Buprene was chosen as the therapy. After some time, Oscar realized that the decision was right, everything worked. He wanted to plan and dream again. But the war came…

At the end of February 2022, Oscar completed an internship at associations of lawyers in one of the cities of Ukraine.
