Oksana (name changed) arrived in Germany at the end of March with her mother – both women from Mykolaiv were on the road for 3 days: first with volunteers in Ukraine, then reaching the border with Poland. Then to the city N, where they stopped. The girl has been taking ART since 2018, she has been registered all this time, but before leaving she did not have time to go to the doctor and restore the supply of therapy. By the time she arrived in Germany, there was very little left.
“From the first days in Germany, I was looking for information on helping people with HIV. I found a post on the Internet about the #HelpNow service, there was a list of messengers for communication. I sent a request for help in the evening, in the morning I received a reply about the nearest help centers for people with HIV. I chose to call them. The reception set the reception at a time convenient for me. I arrived, talked, the doctor made a medical examination, and put in the time for the blood tests. On the same visit, I was given a prescription for three months of therapy. Everything was so fast! ”
There was no necessary therapy in the pharmacies near the hospital, so Oksana ordered it at the pharmacy in her place of residence. In a day it was delivered.
“Thank you #HelpNow for your feedback and support!»
